Emergency Management Services is now a division of the Green County Sheriff's Department and is located in the Sheriff's Department/Jail building at 2827 6th Street.

Currently, the Green County Sheriff's Department is in the process of recruiting a part-time Emergency Management Program Assistant.
Emergency Management Services personnel are responsible for program planning, reporting, development and administration initiatives. Duties and responsibilities include developing plans and policies for programs based on current research, mandates, evaluation and assessment of needs and state requirements, including response plans. This is accomplished by developing, analyzing, assembling the information, and revising operational procedures that affect various projects.
