EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT / MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS)
Emergency Management is a division of the Green County Sheriff's Department and is located in the Sheriff's Department/Jail building at 2827 6th Street.

Emergency Management Services personnel are responsible for program planning, reporting, development and administration initiatives. Duties and responsibilities include developing plans and policies for programs based on current research, mandates, evaluation and assessment of needs and state requirements, including response plans. This is accomplished by developing, analyzing, assembling the information, and revising operational procedures that affect various projects. Emergency Management also assists other Green County agencies by coordinating training exercises, obtaining grant monies, and other emergency service activities.

GREEN COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS: The Green County Crime Stoppers program helps solve crimes. Crime Stoppers is a service that rewards tipsters (up to $1000) when they supply valuable information about crimes. All tipsters have the right to remain anonymous.
