The following incidents occurred on February 01, 2013:
At 12:41 a.m., David N Patchen, 31, Albany, was southbound on CTH E, north of Zwiefel Road, in Brooklyn Township, when a deer struck the driver's side of the truck he was operating. Patchen was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
At 5:55 p.m., Deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Bump Road, west of Peebles Road, in Albany Township. Tyler D. Vandusen, 17, of Albany, was eastbound on Bump Road when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow/ice-covered roadway. The vehicle entered the north ditch; then collided with a tree. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Vandusen was not injured, seatbelt used, and no airbag deployment.
