February 08, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incident occurred on February 6, 2013: 

Domestic Abuse Arrest:
At 11:44 P.M., Deputies responded to a residence in the W9300 block of Rat Hollow Road, Town of Adams, for a domestic dispute. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jared A. Jones, age 30, Argyle, for Domestic Abuse-Related Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property. Jones was jailed pending court.
 
The following incidents occurred on February 7, 2013:
 
Traffic Crash:
At 6:43 A.M., Deputies responded to the N6600 block of Biggs Road, Town of Adams, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Brandon W. Watkins, age 19, of Argyle, was traveling north on Biggs Road when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving while negotiating a curve. The vehicle slid off the east side of the road and struck a utility pole. Watkins was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. No air bags were deployed in his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 7:30 A.M., Deputies responded to the W800 block of Bump Road, Town of Albany, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Autumn Rae Nelson, age 18, of Beloit, lost control of the vehicle she was driving and entered the ditch. Nelson was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. No airbags were deployed. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 8:31 A.M., Deputies responded to the W2200 block of CTH EE, Town of Albany, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Andrew W. Jesson, age 29, of rural Albany, travelling east on CTH EE when he lost control of his vehicle on icy roads. The vehicle travelled off road left and rolled over at a slow speed. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Jesson was not injured, was wearing a seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 11:41 A.M., Deputies responded to the W6400 block of Farmers Grove Road, Town of New Glarus, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Tawni R. Stenberg, age 52, of rural New Glarus, was eastbound, going down a small hill on Farmers Grove Road, when she lost control of the vehicle due to the ice-covered road. The vehicle began to fish-tail until she entered the ditch on the north side of the road and collided with a tree. Stenberg was not injured and she was wearing her seat belt. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The airbags did not deploy in the crash.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 8:17 P.M.,Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH CC and CTH W, Town of Exeter, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Thomas P. McGuire, age 56, of rural Monticello, was driving south on CTH CC, approaching CTH W. McGuire was unable to stop for the stop sign due to road conditions and slid through the intersection. The vehicle entered the north ditch, where it rolled over onto its side. McGuire was not injured, was not wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. McGuire was cited for Failure to Fasten Seatbelt and released pending court.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 9:23 P.M., Deputies responded to the W3700 block of STH 11, Town of Sylvester, for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Genevieve Kay Balch, age 16, of Brodhead, was eastbound on STH 11 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow-covered roads. Balch's vehicle slid into the south side ditch, collided with a divided highway sign, and came to rest in a snow bank. Balch was wearing her seat belt and was not injured. The air bag did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
 
Green County Deputies responded to twelve reports of vehicles in the ditch throughout the Green County area. In each instance, there were no injuries or damages reported.
