March 04, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on March 3, 2013:

Traffic Crash:
At 7:57 A.M., Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the N7300 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed Dallas D. Boley, age 29, of Belleville, was northbound on STH 69 when a vehicle traveling north in front of him slowed to turn into a private drive. Boley did not immediately see the vehicle in front of him slowing down. He swerved into the southbound lane to avoid rear-ending the vehicle. Boley then overcorrected, swerved back into the northbound lane, and went into the ditch along the east side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and a snow-covered embankment before coming to rest. Boley was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. No air bags were deployed on his vehicle. Boley's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
