March 08, 2013:  Daily News Release for March 6 & 7, 2013

The following incidents occurred on March 6, 2013:



On 03-06-13 at 1:34 A.M., Deputies located a vehicle in the ditch in the W6500 block of STH 11, Town of Monroe.  Brittany N. McAdory, age 20, of Monroe, was eastbound on STH 11 when she lost control on the snow-covered roadway and entered the south ditch.  McAdory and her passengers were not injured, were seat belted and there was no damage to the vehicle.  The vehicle was pulled from the ditch by a private party.  A passenger in the vehicle, Tara B. Fetterolf, age 19, of Monroe, was cited for Underage Possess/Consume Intoxicants, Second Offense within 12 months.  She was released pending her initial court appearance.



At approximately 11:20 AM, Deputies were called to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance that had occurred at a residence off of State Highway 39, in York Township.  An investigation resulted in Deputies uncovering a physical domestic that had been ongoing for several hours, starting on March 5 and running into the early morning hours of March 6, 2013.  The investigation also found that the offender, Christian Timothy Black, 34, of rural Blanchardville, was at a location in the City of Madison.  Madison Police were requested to assist in locating Black and to take him into custody for Domestic-related charges.  Madison Police located and arrested Black in Madison.  Black was turned over to Green County authorities.  Black was incarcerated in the Green County Jail on tentative charges of felony Strangulation, Battery and Disorderly Conduct.  Black remains in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.



At approximately 5:50 AM, Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the W3700 Block of CTH EE in Mt. Pleasant Township.   The driver of the vehicle, Nicole L Harding, 38, of Brodhead, was cited for speeding 79 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and Operating With a Suspended Driver’s License.  Harding was released pending her initial court appearance.


The following incident occurred on March 7, 2013:



At approximately 9:55 PM, Deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of STH 59, at STH 104, in Albany Township.  An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Gary E. Johnson, 48, of Monroe, was southbound on STH 59, at STH 104, negotiating the curve, when he struck a tire and rim that was in the middle of the road. The crash caused Johnson's vehicle to become disabled in the southbound lane. Gary was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy in the vehicle.  The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
