The following incidents occurred on March 19, 2013:
At approximately 11:52 PM, Deputies were called to investigate a report of a motor vehicle crash on the N6300 block of STH 69, Mt. Pleasant Township. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Jason L. McNett, 39, of Monroe, was southbound on STH 69 when he lost control of the vehicle due to a snow drift. McNett's vehicle collided with a second vehicle driven by Xhemal Rushiti, 49 of Monroe. McNett and a passenger advised they were wearing their safety belts and were not injured. The McNett vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The airbags did not deploy. Rushiti advised he was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was driven from the scene. The airbags did not deploy. Monticello Police assisted at the scene.
At approximately 11:59 PM, while deputies were investigating another crash, a second crash happened at the same location in the N6300 block of STH 69, Mt. Pleasant Township. An investigation found that a vehicle driven by Cheryl M. Betts, 55, of Monroe, was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to a snow drift. The vehicle struck the west guardrail, causing severe damage to her vehicle without deploying the airbags. Betts advised she was wearing her safety belt and was uninjured. The vehicle was driven from the scene. Monticello Police Department assisted at the scene. No apparent damage to the guardrail.
The following incidents occurred on March 20, 2013:
At approximately 8:14 AM, Deputies were called to investigate a report of a motor vehicle crash on STH 59, south
of Towns Road, Sylvester Township. Investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Trina L. Severson, 26, of Brooklyn, was traveling west on STH 59 when she lost control of her vehicle as her vehicle drove on a patch of ice, while negotiating a curve. Severson's vehicle slid off the west side of the road and struck an embankment. Severson was not injured in the crash. Severson was wearing a seat belt and no air bags were deployed on her vehicle. Severson's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
At about 3:15 PM, Deputies at the Green County Justice Center took Andrew S. Rozell, 24, of Beloit, into custody on three outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Green County Circuit Court. While in Court, Rozell was given a signature bond on those warrants. Rozell also had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Rock County Circuit Court. Rozell was incarcerated in the Green County Jail on the Rock County warrant, pending transport to Rock County.
