April 26, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on April 25, 2013: 

Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 5:30 A.M., Lori A. Holland, age 51, of Brodhead, was operating her vehicle northbound on CTH E when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Holland was not injured, was wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
 
Arrest:
At 9:15 A.M., Green County Detectives were requested to assist at the Probation and Parole Office, located in the Green County Justice Center, with a subject reported to be carrying a concealed weapon. Dustin A. Boeck, age 28, of Monroe, was taken into custody by Detectives and transported to the Green County Jail by Monroe Police. Boeck is being held on a probation hold.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 10:41 P.M., the Monticello Police Department assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department by responding to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the N6000 block of STH 69, Town of Mt Pleasant.  Investigation revealed Brett J. Andersen, age 52, of rural Monticello, was southbound on STH 69 when a deer collided with his vehicle. 
Andersen sustained injuries in the crash, but refused medical treatment. He reported seatbelt usage and the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
