April 28, 2013:  Missing/Endangered Person

Missing/Endangered Person:  On Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:39 a.m., a call was received by the Green County Sheriff's Department of a vehicle located in a field on CTH M, in the Town of Cadiz.  Preliminary investigation revealed that a male had apparently walked away from the vehicle. The subject is believed to be Jaren M. Kuester, 31 years of age, from Waukesha County . He is described as a white male, 5'10", 165 pounds, brown eyes, brown hair, and was last seen at approximately 3:30 p.m. on 04/26/13. Green County Deputies, with the assistance of Lafayette County Sheriff's Department Deputies, Browntown Fire Department, and both Green and Lafayette County Sheriff's Departments K9 units tracked Kuester's path of travel to the area of Ridge Road and Smock Valley Road, approximately 1.5 miles from his vehicle. Items of clothing were located along the track, but Kuester was not located.  Kuester is believed to be partially naked, may have an altered mental state, and may be disoriented.

If Kuester is seen or located, by the public, do not make contact with him, but note his location and call Green County Sheriff's Department at the earliest convenience, at 608-328-9401, or 911.  A Nixel alert was utilized for the public.
