May 20, 2013: Daily News Release
The following incidents occurred on May 19, 2013:
At 1:44 A.M., Deputies responded to a complaint at Sir Buk’s Dance Club, W5222 CTH KK, Town of Monroe. During the course of the investigation, Deputies learned Christeena M. Rosenstiel, age 20, of Freeport, IL, was in the establishment consuming intoxicants. Rosenstiel was located and cited for Underage Person Entering a Licensed Premises and Underage Consumption of Alcohol. She was released to a responsible party pending court.
At 2:29 A.M., Deputies stopped a vehicle on 9th Street, at 29th Avenue, in the City of Monroe, for a traffic infraction that occurred in the W5200 block of CTH KK, Town of Monroe. The driver, Efrain Elias Miranda, age 23, of Monroe, was cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License, Second Offense within three years. He was released pending court.
Operate Under the Influence:
At 6:41 A.M., Deputies, assisted by Brodhead Police, responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the W800 block of STH 11, Town of Spring Grove. Investigation into the incident resulted in the arrest of the driver,Cesario Santiago Eslava, age 34, of Brodhead, for Second Offense Operating While Under the Influence of intoxicants. He was also cited for Operating While Revoked and released to a responsible party, pending court. Santiago had been eastbound on STH 11 when he traveled left of center, entered the gravel shoulder and lost control. The vehicle slid back across the roadway and entered the south ditch before coming to rest. There was no damage to the vehicle and Santiago was not injured.
Operate Under the Influence:
At 3:51 P.M., Deputies and Albany Police responded to S. Cincinnati Street, at CTH E, in the Village of Albany, for a rollover motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Jason A. Buttchen, age 25, of Brodhead, was southbound on S. Cincinnati Street when he lost control and the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof. Buttchen refused medical treatment at the scene. Seatbelt usage is unknown and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Buttchen was arrested for First Offense Operating While Under the Influence. He was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. He was released to a responsible party, pending court.
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 8:36 P.M., a Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the N8000 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed Bruce G. Polheber, age 53, of Albany, was northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Polheber was not injured and reported seatbelt use. The vehicle sustained moderate damage with no airbag deployment. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
