The following incidents occurred on May 25, 2013:
At 3:39 A.M., Deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle rollover in the N2100 block of Haddinger Road, Town of Clarno. The occupants of the vehicle had walked away from the scene, but were later located by Monroe Police at the address of the registered owner. Antonio J. Addison, age 17, of Monroe, was northbound on Haddinger Road, from Mings Road, when he entered the east shoulder. Addison overcorrected and entered the west shoulder where the vehicle turned onto its side. The vehicle sustained moderate passenger side damage and was towed from the scene. Addison and his 15-year-old passenger reported using their seatbelts and claimed that they were uninjured. Addison will be cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Valid License, Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Notify Police of an Accident.
Traffic Crash/ OWI Arrest:
At 11:00 P.M., Deputies, assisted by New Glarus Fire, EMS and Police, along with Belleville EMS and UW-Med Flight, responded to a one-vehicle crash on CTH W, east of Elmer Road, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Amber J. Ace, age 17, of rural New Glarus, was eastbound on CTH W when she lost control while negotiating a curve. Ace overcorrected, causing the vehicle to skid into the ditch, where it collided with a mailbox. The vehicle went airborne over a culvert and collided with an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to a rest on its wheels after traveling through a fence. Ace sustained injuries and was transported by EMS to UW-Hospital. Seatbelt use is unknown and the airbags did deploy. A passenger identified as Larissa L. Aunet, age 17, of Belleville, sustained injuries, was transported by EMS to UW-Hospital, and seatbelt use is unknown. A third occupant identified as Iliana E. Samaniego, age 17, of Belleville, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She sustained injuries and was transported by UW-Med Flight to UW Hospital. The vehicle sustained severe overall damage and was towed from the scene. Ace was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated - Causing Injury. She was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and was released pending court. Aunet was cited for Underage Alcohol Consumption and released with a court date. Samaniego was cited for Underage Alcohol Consumption and Possession of Marijuana, 25 grams or less, and released pending court.
The following incidents occurred on May 26, 2013:
At 5:30 A.M., Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover in the W1700 block of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn. Investigation revealed Brandon J. Perkins, age 19, of New Glarus, was westbound on STH 92 when he reported he fell asleep. The vehicle he was operating left the north side of the road, traveled over two driveways and became airborne. When the vehicle returned to the ditch, it overturned several times before coming to rest on its roof in the roadway. Perkins reported seatbelt usage and no injuries. The vehicle sustained very severe damage with airbag deployment. It was towed from the scene. Perkins was cited for Inattentive Driving and was released pending court.
At 5:03 P.M., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of CTH H and CTH A, Town of York. Investigation revealed Lucas T. Mckeon, age 17, of Blanchardville, had been eastbound on CTH H and attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection. The vehicle entered the north shoulder and slid into the ditch, where it collided with a power pole. The collision caused moderate damage, without deploying the airbags. Mckeon reported seatbelt use and no injuries. Mckeon was able drive the vehicle from the scene after it was pulled from the ditch. The power pole received minor damage. Mckeon was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released pending court.
