The following incident occurred on July 1, 2013:

MV Crash:
At 11:50 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to investigate a car/deer accident that occurred on STH 59 near Broughton Road, Albany Township. Investigation revealed that a car driven by David L. Wang, 49, of Monroe, was traveling west on STH 59 when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Wang and his passenger were not injured and both occupants were wearing seat belts. No air bags were deployed on Wang's vehicle. Wang's vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
The following incidents occurred on July 2, 2013:
MV Crash:
At 6:05 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to investigate a car/deer accident that occurred on Mt. Hope Road, north of Spring Creek Road, Spring Grove Township.  Investigation revealed that a car, driven by Paul Ramirez Castro, 25, of Brodhead, was traveling south on Mt. Hope Road when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with his vehicle. After colliding with the deer, the vehicle's hood flew open and Ramirez Castro drove off the roadway and into a cornfield. Ramirez Castro was not injured in the accident and was wearing a seat belt. The driver's side air bag did deploy on the vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and will be removed later by a private party using a tractor. Ramirez Castro was cited with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Revoked, Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. He was released pending court.
At 8:44 a.m. and at 9:24 a.m., Deputies investigated harassment complaints in the New Glarus Area. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Kurt Duest, 51, New Glarus, on charges of Harassing Phone Calls, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct and two counts of Resisting Arrest. Duest was jailed pending court.
Warrant Arrest:
At 11:15 a.m., Deputies arrested Glen A. Swedlund, 35, Monroe, on a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections at the Sheriff’s Department. Swedlund was jailed.
