The following incident occurred on July 3, 2013:
At 9:38 p.m., Deputies responded to the W1400 block of Albany-Decatur Road, Town of Decatur, for a vehicle vs. deer crash. Brian L Stone, 64, of Evansville, was traveling east on Albany-Decatur Road when a deer crossed into his path. The deer collided with the passenger side of the vehicle, causing moderate damage. Stone was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt and the air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
At 9:36 p.m., Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on STH 69, south of Highland Drive, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Donald L. Fulton, 49, of Cobb, was northbound on STH 69 when a deer collided with his vehicle. Fulton was not injured, his seatbelt was used and the airbag did not deploy. The vehicle sustained minor driver side damage and was driven from the scene.
