The following incidents occurred on July 11, 2013:
At 11:32 a.m., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Argue Road and Kubly Road in the Town of New Glarus. Todd A. Duerst, 54, New Glarus, was operating a truck pulling a cattle trailer loaded with cattle southbound on Argue Road. Duerst stopped at the intersection of Kubly Road then continued on Argue Road into the path of a vehicle driven by Evan P. Riniker, 19, New Glarus, operating eastbound on Kubly. Both vehicles collided. Riniker's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Duerst's vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Both subjects advised they were wearing seatbelts and reported no injuries. Riniker's vehicle airbag did not deploy and Duerst's vehicle was not equipped with an airbag. Highway contributing factors were limited visibility at the intersection. Citation(s) are pending.
