August 07, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, August 6, 2013:

Warrant Arrest:
At 9:55 A.M., Deputies responded to the Green County Justice Center and arrested Jeffrey S. Dampier, 51Juda, on a warrant.  He was jailed.
 
MV Crash - Injury:
At 10:06 A.M., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on STH 104 at CTH C in Brooklyn Township. Rock County reported that a vehicle was westbound on CTH C from their county and struck the embankment on the west side of STH 104. A vehicle operated by Nicholas Paco Resendez, 16, Evansville, was transported to an area hospital by EMS for injuries. The vehicle sustained severe front and rear end damage and was towed from the scene. Resendez was cited for OWI 1st Offense.  He was released pending court.  Further charges will be forwarded to the DA. Seatbelt use and airbag deployment is not known at the time of news release.
 
MV Crash - Property Damage:
At 5:18 P.M., Deputies responded to the N2100 block of STH 69, in Clarno Township, for a motor vehicle crash with no injuries. Casey L. Coon, 26, of Freeport, IL, had been traveling southbound on STH 69 when the vehicle’s front driver side tire came unattached from the vehicle. The loss of the tire caused the front end of the vehicle to dip down and collide with the roadway. The roadway did not sustain damage. Coon’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was later towed from the scene. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. Coon was uninjured and reported wearing a seatbelt.
 
MV Crash - Property Damage:
At 6:37 P.M., Green County Deputies along with New Glarus Fire Department and New Glarus EMS, were dispatched to the N7800 block of CTH J, York Township, for a report of a one-vehicle rollover crash. A vehicle operated by, Brandon M. Severson, 21, Argyle, was traveling south on CTH J when he reportedly fell asleep. Severson's vehicle then drifted over to the east ditch, where it struck the gravel. Severson overcorrected, crossed the roadway and entered the west ditch, rolling the vehicle, which landed on its roof. Severson reported no injuries and was wearing his seatbelt. There was not airbag deployment in the vehicle. Severson was transported to an area hospital by EMS for precaution. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
 
Severson was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released with a court date.
 
MV Crash - Car vs. Deer:
At 8:35 P.M., Deputies responded to the W1000 block of STH 92, Brooklyn Township, for a vehicle vs deer crash. Daniel E. Hale, 48, of Brooklyn, was traveling south on STH 92 when a deer collided with his vehicle. Hale was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
 
MV Crash - Car vs. Deer:
At 8:55 P.M., Deputies responded to the N4300 block of Golf Course Road, in Decatur Township, for a vehicle vs deer crash. Jill A. Leitzen, 44, Brodhead, had been southbound on Golf Course Road when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Leitzen was wearing a seat belt, and was not injured. Leitzen's vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene. The vehicle's air bags did not deploy.
