August 27, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on August 26, 2013:

Traffic Crash:
At 1:39 A.M., Green County Deputies, Green County EMS and Juda Fire/First Response were dispatched to the W3000 block of STH 11/81, Town of Sylvester, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Michael L. Reasa, age 35, of Monroe, was westbound on STH 11/81 when deer ran into the roadway. Reasa applied the brakes to avoid striking the deer. A second westbound vehicle, operated by Raif Islami, age 69, of Monroe, was following behind Reasa and was unable to stop before colliding with the rear end of Reasa's vehicle. Reasa reported no injuries and was wearing a seatbelt. His vehicle sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Raif and his passenger, Sadet Islami, age 61, of Monroe, were both wearing seatbelts and injured during the crash. Raif refused treatment on scene and Sadet was transported by EMS for treatment of injuries. The Islami vehicle sustained severe damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
At 6:40 P.M., Deputies responded to a disturbance in the Bloom Lane trailer park, Town of Clarno.  As a result of the investigation, Jason K. Coy, age 25, of Monroe, was cited for Disorderly Conduct and jailed on a Department of Corrections probation hold. James K. Cowell, age 47, of Monroe, and Anthony A. Love, age 28, of Monroe, were cited for Disorderly Conduct and released pending court.
