The following incidents occurred on August 27, 2013:
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 12:17 A.M., Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH K & CTH P, Town of Jefferson, for a vehicle vs. deer crash. Investigation revealed Jerry E. Delzer, age 40, of Browntown, was southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, without airbag deployment. The vehicle was driven from the scene. Delzer was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured.
Operate Under the Influence:
At 2:33 A.M., the Green County Sheriff’s Department received a traffic complaint of an intoxicated driver believed to be enroute to the Juda area from Monroe. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle on STH 11 & CTH S, Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted with Elizabeth A. Goninen, age 45, of Juda, being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Intoxicants as a 2nd Offense. She was also cited for Criminal Operating While Revoked and Failing to Maintain Stop Lamps. She was released to a responsible party pending court.
