August 29, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on August 28, 2013:

Operate Under the Influence:
At 2:18 A.M., Deputies stopped a vehicle for operating left of center in the W6300 block of STH 39, Town of New Glarus. The driver, Ellie Mae Erdmann, age 43, of rural Argyle, was arrested for 3rd Offense Operating While Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. She was also cited for Criminal Operating While Revoked and Operating Left of Center. She was incarcerated pending court or cash bond being posted.
Traffic Crash:
At 3:42 A.M., Deputies, New Glarus EMS and Fire Department were dispatched to the N8700 block of CTH O, Town of New Glarus, for a one-vehicle rollover crash. Preliminary investigation revealed Whitney T. Buesser, age 21, of New Glarus, was southbound when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle entered the west ditch and struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Buesser was transported by EMS for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.  Seat belt usage is unknown at this time. The case remains under investigation.
Traffic Crash and Arrest:
At 1:08 P.M., Deputies responded to the W2200 block of CTH EE, Town of Albany, for a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation revealed Deborah J. Newcomb, age 30, of Albany, was eastbound on CTH EE when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve, left the highway, and collided with a ditch. Newcomb and her passenger, Frederick R. D. Veeder, age 38, of Albany, walked away from the scene. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts. Newcomb was cited for Criminal Operating While Revoked and Operating Without Insurance. Newcomb was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department. She was incarcerated. Veeder was cited for Obstructing and released pending court.
Warrant Arrest:
While investigating the above listed crash on CTH EE, Deputies located several subjects standing by a vehicle in the N6600 block of CTH X, Town of Albany. Upon making contact with one of the subjects, Deputies learned Allen Michael Carstensen, age 22, of Albany, had warrants for his arrest. Carstensen was arrested on a Green County warrant for Failure to Support and a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.
