September 29, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incident occurred on September 27, 2013:

MV Crash:
At 11:50 p.m., Deputies were called to the W900 block of STH 92, in Brooklyn Township, for a complaint of a vehicle crashing into the ditch and then continuing westbound. Deputies and Belleville PD located the vehicle traveling westbound on STH 92 at CTH X in Exeter Township. The driver, Tyler William Marking, 18, Barneveld, advised that he was "going too fast for the road conditions" and missed the 90-degree turn. Marking struck the ditch on the east side of the roadway and then returned to the roadway. Marking's vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and was driven from the scene. Marking reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. Marking was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance, Driving Too Fast for Conditions, and for Failure to Notify Police of an Accident. Marking was released pending court.

The following incidents occurred on September 28, 2013:

OWI:
At 12:48 a.m., Kimberly A. Zrinzo, age 24, of Janesville, was stopped by Deputies and cited for Failure to Dim her Headlights and Operating Left of Center on CTH W, at CTH CC, in the Town of Exeter. Kimberly was subsequently arrested for Operating While Under the Influence and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Zrinzo was released pending court.

Domestic/OWI/Fleeing/MV Crash:
At 6:33 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Psalms Way Road, in the Town of Albany, for a Domestic Dispute. On arrival, the offender, Joseph W. Carow, 23, Albany, fled from Police, resulting in a pursuit that Police terminated. At approximately 8:43 p.m., Deputies were called back to the scene and Carow (with a female passenger) took a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission and fled the scene, thus resulting in another pursuit. Deputies deployed Stop Sticks, which deflated one tire. Carow drove off the roadway and sideswiped a power pole on STH 104 in the Town of Brooklyn. Carow and his passenger were both transported to area hospitals. The motor vehicle sustained moderate damage, airbags did not deploy, and it was towed from the scene.  Carow is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Fleeing Police (2 counts), Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, OWI 3rd Offense Causing Injury, and Reckless Endangerment. Additional traffic charges are pending. Carow remains in an area hospital at this time. Albany Police, Rock County’s Sheriff Department, Dane County Sheriff’s Department, Evansville PD & EMS, Brooklyn EMS & Fire and Fitch-Rona EMS assisted the Green County’s Sheriff Department.
