October 03, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incident occurred on October 2, 2013:

MV Crash:
At 8:18 p.m., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of STH 11, at CTH GG, in the Town of Spring Grove. A car driven by Mason T. Obermann, 17, Brodhead, was going eastbound on STH 11 and was slowing down to make a right turn onto CTH GG. Obermannn did not see a truck, driven by Bruce M. Trumble, 22, Juda, going westbound on STH 11. Obermann turned in front of Trumble. The vehicles then collided. Obermann sustained injuries, but declined EMS.  Obermann and his passenger were wearing seatbelts and their airbags deployed. The passenger in Obermann's vehicle stated he was not injured. Trumble was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. His airbag did not deploy. Both vehicles received severe damage and were towed.  Brodhead EMS, Police and Fire assisted at the scene.
