The following incidents occurred on Saturday. October 5th, 2013:

Traffic Arrest – OWI:
At 12:57 A.M., Mathew T. Daly, 23, of Monroe, was stopped and cited for Operating Left of Center, on 20th Avenue at 9th Street, in the City of Monroe. Following an investigation, Daly was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense.  Daly was also cited for violating a class D license restriction for Operating Without an Ignition Interlock Device and Driver in Possession of Open Intoxicants.  Daly was also arrested for a Probation/Parole violation and was jailed pending court.
 
Arrest – Bail Jumping:
At 5:05 A.M., Justin D. Nyman, 23, Browntown, was arrested for 2nd Offense Operating While Intoxicated, Operating After Revocation, and Felony Bail Jumping after Deputies observed him back into a parked vehicle in the parking ramp in the 1500 block of 11th Street, in the City of Monroe. Nyman was jailed pending court.
 
MVC – Car vs Deer:
At 6:57 A.M., Deputies responded to a report of a car vs. deer crash on STH 69, .5 mile north of Hill Lane, Monroe Township. A vehicle driven by Ronald I. Jacobsen, 50, Monticello, was southbound on STH 69 when a deer collided with his vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage. There was airbag deployment. 
Jacobsen reported wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
 
MVC – Property Damage:
At 1:42 P.M., Deputies were called to investigate a one-vehicle crash on STH 59, .2 mile west of Forest Prairie Park Road, Sylvester Township. A motor vehicle driven by Stephany Lynn Morrison, 26, Monroe, was traveling east on STH 59 when a gas line broke on her vehicle and the vehicle started on fire. Morrison was able to pull off the roadway, and both she and her passenger exited the vehicle. Both parties reported wearing seatbelts and were uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained extensive fire damage and was towed from the scene.
 
The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
 
MVC – Property Damage:
At 4:12 P.M., Deputies responded to CTH FF, just east of Balls Mill Road, in the Town of Sylvester, for a report of a tree limb that fell on a vehicle, causing damage.  Jill A Beard, 59,Ridott, IL, was driving west on CTH FF when a tree limb fell and struck the front windshield. Beard and her passenger reported no injuries. Both the driver and passenger were wearing their seatbelts and the airbags did not deploy.  There was moderate damage to the windshield and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
 
Arrest - Disorderly Conduct:
At 8:28 P.M., Deputies responded to a residence in the W700 block of Atkinson Road, in the Town of Albany, for an assault. Edward R Mclain, 48, Albany, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and jailed pending court.
