October 20, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on October 19, 2013: 

Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 12:38 A.M., a Deputy responded to the N9600 block of Primrose Center Road, Town of New Glarus, for a vehicle vs. deer crash. Investigation revealed Patricia M. Bump, age 48, of rural Belleville, was southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage, the airbags did not deploy, and it was able to be driven from the scene. Bump reported seat belt usage and no injuries.
 
Arrest:
At 12: 52 A.M., Deputies responded to the N600 block of CTH T, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a report of an occupied vehicle in the ditch. Nathan L. Wiesenberg Jr., age 36, of rural Monroe, was arrested for 4th Offense Operating While Under the Influence, 3 Counts of Felony Bail Jumping, 1 Count of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, Felony Possession of THC. He was cited for Operating after Suspension. Wiesenberg was incarcerated at the Green County Jail, where he is being held pending court.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 3:50 A.M., Deputies responded to the W1000 block of Alpine Road, Brooklyn Township, for a one-vehicle crash, with airbag deployment. The driver had fled the scene. Investigation revealed Daniel L. Farrell, age 20, of rural Brooklyn, reported he was westbound at approximately 2:00 A.M. and swerved to miss a deer. His vehicle left the south side of the roadway and collided with a culvert.  Farrell reported no injuries and could not recall if he was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Farrell was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle and Failure to Notify Police of a Crash. He was released pending court.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:28 A.M., a Deputy responded to take a report of a vehicle vs. deer crash that occurred in the W6200 block of STH 39, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed Kevin M Spiegel, age 47, of Belleville, was westbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage, the airbags did not deploy, and it was able to be driven from the scene. Spiegel reported seat belt usage and no injuries.
