October 23, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on October 22, 2013:

MV Crash:
At 12:34 a.m., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash that occurred at 12:01 a.m. on 10/22/13 in the N1900 block of STH 69, Clarno Township. Trevor M. O’Connor, 23, of Freeport, IL, was southbound on STH 69 when he reported he swerved to miss a deer that was on the roadway.  The vehicle entered the west ditch and proceeded to rollover several times before coming to rest on its wheels. O’Connor was transported to the MCER for injuries by a private vehicle. O’Connor advised that he was wearing his safety belt. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The airbags did not deploy.
 
MV Crash:
At 6:44 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on STH 78, near STH 39, York Township. Pamela R. Higham, 48, of Blanchardville, was traveling north on STH 78 when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Higham was not injured in the accident and was wearing a seat belt. No air bags were deployed in her vehicle. Higham's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
 
MV Crash:
At 7:46 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the N4800 block of CTH N, Monroe Township, for a motor vehicle crash.  Tawni R. Stenberg, 53, of Monticello, was traveling north on CTH N when a deer entered the roadway. Stenberg was not able to avoid striking the deer. Stenberg reported no injuries and was wearing her seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
 
MV Crash:
At 8:49 p.m., Deputies responded to the W 3400 block of CTH KS, in the Town of Jefferson, for a motor vehicle crash.   Hayley L. Jordan, 33, of Juda, was driving east on CTH KS, west of Brunkow Road, when a deer collided with the front end of her vehicle.  Jordan was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured, and the air bags deployed. Jordan's vehicle received severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
 
MV Crash:
At 10:40 p.m., Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in STH 11, near Bagley Road, Town of Spring Grove. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Sheldon E. Tank, 35, of Beloit, was westbound on STH 11 when a deer collided with his truck. Tank was not injured; his seatbelt was used, and the airbag did not deploy. The vehicle sustained moderate front and passenger side damage and was driven from the scene.
