The following incidents occurred on October 23, 2013:
At 7:21 a.m., Deputies responded to STH 69, north of Hefty Road, in Washington Township for a motor vehicle crash. Barbette S. Anderson, 59, Monroe, was northbound on STH 69 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. There was moderate front-end vehicle damage, her seat belt was used, there was no injury, and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
At 4:45 p.m., Wayne P. Rose, 58, Monroe, reported he collided with a deer on Legler Road in the N9500 Block in the Town of Brooklyn at approximately 6:33 a.m.. There were no injuries, seatbelt used, moderate damage and vehicle was driven from the scene.
At 6:32 p.m., Deputies, assisted by Brooklyn Police, responded to a one-vehicle crash on Benson Road south of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Karen K. Krajeck, 65, of Evansville, was northbound on Benson Road when a deer collided with her vehicle. Krajeck was not injured, her seatbelt was used, and the airbag did not deploy. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
