October 25, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on October 24, 2013:

Warrant Arrest:
At 12:27 a.m., Deputies stopped a vehicle on STH 69 & CTH B, Clarno Township, for several traffic violations.  A passenger, Joseph A. Lartz, 23, of Browntown, was cited for Obstructing Police for giving a false name and arrested on two warrants. One warrant was issued by the Monroe Police Department (Failure to Pay Fine) and one from the Dane County Sheriff Department (Failure to Appear).  Lartz was jailed pending bond or court.
 
Traffic Arrest:
At 4:21 a.m., Tyler C. Hissong, age 22, of Brodhead, was stopped for a traffic violation on STH 11, at Hartwig Road, in the Town of Jefferson. Tyler was cited for Operating with a Suspended Driver’s License and released pending court.
 
Fleeing/Eluding:
At 4:09 p.m., Deputies attempted to stop a red-colored, two-door car that was traveling at a high rate of speed south on STH 104, north of Borchardt Road, in the Town of Decatur. The vehicle was pursued into Rock County, where it stopped at the intersection of Knutson Road and South Dorner Road. A Cory E. Thornton, 23, of Stoughton, was arrested for Fleeing/Eluding an Officer and booked into the Green County Jail pending court. Thornton was also cited for 92 mph in a 55 mph zone, Non-Registration of a vehicle, Display Unauthorized Plates and No Insurance.
