October 26, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on October 25, 2013: 

OWI:
At 2:03 A.M., Douglas A. Wirth, age 44, of Davis, IL, was stopped and arrested for 1st Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage, following a traffic complaint on STH 104 near Borchardt Road, Town of Decatur. Wirth was also cited for Reckless Driving and released pending court.
Brodhead Police assisted with the stop.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:22 A.M., a Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the N9600 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed Kevin P. Hauser, age 50, of Monroe, was northbound on STH 69 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Hauser was not injured. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:58 A.M., a Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the W7100 block of STH 11, Town of Clarno. Investigation revealed Douglas J. Fry, age 51, of Monroe, was eastbound on STH 11 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Fry was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:29 P.M., a Deputy located a vehicle vs. deer crash in the N6000 block of STH 104, Town of Albany. 
Investigation revealed Shawn M. Kittleson, age 34, of Lone Rock, was northbound on STH 104 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Kittleson was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
 
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:52 P.M., a Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the W600 block of CTH E, Town of Decatur.
Investigation revealed Mindy L. Bocklund, age 41, of Albany, was westbound on CTH E when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Bocklund was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained minor damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
