December 17, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on December 16, 2013: 

Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 6:08 A.M., a Deputy responded to the W9100 block of STH 81, Town of Jordan, for a vehicle vs. deer crash. Investigation revealed Brent J. Leigh, age 29, of Argyle, was westbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Leigh advised he was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained minor damage without airbag deployment. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
 
Warrant Arrest:
At 11:30 A.M., Deputies arrested Madison Mae Bezik, age 23, of Monroe, at the Green County Justice Center on two active Dane County warrants. She was incarcerated.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 3:59 P.M., Deputies responded to the W2300 block of STH 11/81, Town of Spring Grove, for a two-vehicle crash. Prior to law enforcement’s arrival, one of the drivers fled the scene. Investigation revealed Tabetha J. Block, age 28, of Janesville, was eastbound on STH 11/81 and began to slow her vehicle to match traffic. Block lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway and entered the south gravel shoulder. Block's vehicle then began to slide sideways and re-entered the roadway, facing the north. Block's vehicle was struck by a second eastbound vehicle. The second vehicle was described as a black Volkswagen Jetta. 
Following the collision, the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene eastbound. Block was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. Her vehicle sustained severe damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. If you have any information regarding the identity of the second driver in this crash, please contact the Green County Sheriff’s Department.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 5:18 P.M., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on STH 69, just south of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe. Investigation revealed Kristian J. Thomson, age 41, of Browntown, was stopped at the stop sign at 2nd Street and STH 69.  Thomson then turned north on STH 69 and the rear end of his vehicle slid out and struck a northbound vehicle operated by Savannah E.A. Fosler, age 22, of South WayneFosler was wearing her seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy in her vehicle. Thomson was wearing his seatbelt and the air bags did not deploy in his vehicle. Neither Fosler nor Thomson reported injuries from the crash. Both vehicles had moderate damage and were driven from the scene.
 
Traffic Crash:
At 9:40 P.M., Deputies responded to the N3200 block of STH 81, Town of Monroe, for a motor vehicle crash. 
Investigation revealed Lucas A. Neuenschwander, age 16, of Monroe, was westbound when he lost control on the snow-covered road.  The vehicle went into the north ditch and struck a sign and post. The driver was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
 
Vehicles in the Ditch:
Deputies responded to three reports of vehicles in the ditch throughout Green County. In each instance, there were no injuries or property damages.
