December 25, 2013:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on December 24, 2013:

OWI Arrest/MV Crash:

At 3:25 AM, Deputies, along with Monroe FD, EMS, and PD, responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash with injuries in the W6900 block of STH 81, Monroe Township. Investigation revealed that Rachel S. McCullough, 28, of Monroe, was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a culvert, which caused the vehicle to overturn several times before coming to rest on its roof. McCullough was transported by EMS for non-life threatening injuries. McCullough was cited for 1st Offense Operating While Intoxicated (alcohol-related), and Failure to Maintain Control of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

MV Crash:

At 11:30 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of Farmers Grove Road and Dish Road, New Glarus Township, for a one-vehicle crash. Investigation found that Jeffery G. Weber, 56, of Blanchardville, was attempting to turn onto Farmers Grove Road, but lost control of the vehicle due to ice on the roadway.  The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The airbags did deploy. Weber advised he was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured.

MV Crash:

At 2:07 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of Brooklyn Albany Road and Krause Road, Albany Township, for a one-vehicle crash. Sean A. Wiedel, 19, of Belleville, was eastbound when he had to avoid a vehicle traveling westbound. Wiedel lost control of his vehicle and it entered the south ditch and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage without airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Wiedel was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. Wiedel was cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License.

MV Crash:

At 8:32 PM, Deputies responded to the N6600 block of County Hwy J, Adams Township, for a one-vehicle crash. Daniel C. Minogue, 54, of Blanchardville, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to ice/snow on the roadway. The vehicle entered the west ditch and struck a fence. Minogue advised he was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

MV Crash:

At 9:22 PM, Deputies responded to the N6600 block of County Hwy J, Adams Township, for a one-vehicle crash. Timothy J. Ward, 32, of Mt. Horeb, was northbound and was negotiating a curve. Ward lost control due to ice/snow on the roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch and went down an embankment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Ward was wearing his safety belt and was uninjured. The airbags did not deploy.
