The following incidents occurred on January 19, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 2:14 A.M., Deputies responded to the W6000 Block of CTH H, Town of New Glarus, for a vehicle vs. deer crash. Investigation revealed Jeffrey J. Ness, age 40, of rural Monticello, was eastbound on CTH H when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Ness was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained moderate damages, had no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene.
MV Crash - Hit and Run:
At 2:28 A.M., Deputies and Monticello Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash in the N7400 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Investigation revealed Jason D. Hesselbacher, age 39, of Lena, IL, was operating a semi tanker northbound on STH 69 when a southbound SUV operated by David B. Hirsbrunner, age 45, of Monroe, traveled left of center, and struck the rear portion of the tanker. Hesselbacher reported the crash after Hirsbrunner fled the scene southbound. Hirsbrunner was located by Monticello Police in the disabled vehicle, behind a closed business in the Village of Monticello. Hesselbacher, Hirsbrunner and Hirsbrunner's passenger reported no injuries and all were properly restrained. The Hirsbrunner vehicle sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment and was later towed. The semi tanker sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene. Hirsbrunner was cited for Hit and Run to an Attended Vehicle and Operating Left of Center and released pending court.
At 3:08 A.M., Deputies responded to the W5200 block of Airport Road, in New Glarus Township, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation resulted with Tanya C. Gruter, 21, of Belleville, being arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, cited for Operating Too Fast for Conditions and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gruter was released pending court.
MV Crash:
At 1:40 P.M., Deputies responded to CTH W, west of STH 91, in the Town of Exeter, for a motor vehicle crash. Cameron E. Jeglum, 21, New Glarus, was traveling east when he pulled out to pass a Green County Highway plow truck. The plow truck was starting to turn into a driveway as Jeglum started to pass in a No Passing Zone. Jeglum avoided the truck, but collided with a tree. Jeglum was wearing a seat belt, was uninjured and the airbags did not deploy. Jeglum was cited for Passing in a No Pass Zone and released pending court. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
At 4:43 P.M., Deputies arrested Ronald H. Gundlach, 54, New Glarus, at a residence on Argue Road, in Exeter Township, on a Green County Civil Process - Contempt of Court warrant. The warrant/commitment was issued for Failure to Submit Septic Tank Maintenance Certificate and Failure to Make Green County Corporation Counsel payments. Gundlach was jailed.
At 8:52 P.M., Deputies arrested Lucas S. Roesslein, 34, Brodhead, at a residence in Brodhead on a Green County Warrant for Failure to Pay Fine on a OWI 2nd Offense charge.   Roesslein was incarcerated pending court or bond.
