February 18, 2014:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on February 16, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Crash:
 
At 4:28 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to CTH M, near Stubbe Road, in the Town of Cadiz, for a motor vehicle crash.  A motor vehicle was located in the ditch with minor damage.  The occupants had left the scene.  The vehicle was impounded until contact with the driver was made.  At 11:30 p.m., Perry A, Ditzler, 22, McConnell, IL, driver/owner of the vehicle, came to the Sheriff's Department and admitted to driving the motor vehicle. Ditzler was cited for Too Fast for Conditions and released pending court.
 
Warrant:
At 11:58 p.m., while on patrol, Deputies located a one-vehicle crash on CTH W, east of Elmer Road, Village of New Glarus. The crash occurred within New Glarus Police's jurisdiction and was investigated by them. Deputies responded to an address in rural Brooklyn to attempt to locate the driver that had fled and not reported it. Deputies subsequently located and arrested April R. Odair, 34, of Brooklyn. Odair was arrested on a warrant through Dane County Sheriff for Failure to Appear. Deputies turned Odair over to Dane County Sheriff's Office.
 
The following incident occurred on February 17, 2014:
 
Traffic Arrest:
At 4:07 p.m., Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on STH 81, west of CTH T, in Spring Grove Township. The driver, Joel Trejo-Vazquez, 25, of Beloit, was eastbound on STH 81 when he slid into the ditch. Trejo-Vazquez was cited for Operating without a Valid Driver’s License and released pending court.
