February 19, 2014:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on February 18, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Crash:
 At 6:10 a.m., Deputies, Monroe EMS, Argyle Fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision in the W7900 Block of CTH C, in the Town of Adams. Brenda A. Springer, age 50, of Argyle, was  east of Puddledock Road when her van went left of center and collided head-on with a pick-up traveling east. The pick-up was occupied by the driver, Randall A. Barr, age 46, Argyle, and his passenger, Earl McCord Jr., age 70, of Argyle. Springer, Barr and McCord were all injured in the collision and were transported to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room by ambulance. All three were not wearing their seat belts.
Springer’s van sustained very severe damage. Both the driver's side and passenger side airbags deployed. Barr’s pick-up truck sustained very severe damage. The driver's side airbag deployed. The vehicle was not equipped with a passenger side airbag. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Springer was cited for Operating Left of Center, Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt. Barr was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt.   McCord  was cited for Failure to Wear a Seat Belt.   All subjects were released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 9:11 a.m., Deputies responded to the N9100 block of Dohm Drive, in Exeter Township, for a motor vehicle crash. Bonnie L. Wilcox, 69, Belleville, was backing out of a private driveway on Dohm Drive and collided with a legally parked vehicle owned by Robert D. Sauer, 59, from Cross Plains. No injury, seatbelt used and both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 5:28 p.m., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on STH 11, at STH 81 North. A vehicle operated by Jeffery J. Drye, 26, of Monroe, was southbound when a vehicle operated by Christine K. Scott, 63, of Browntown, was northbound on STH 81 and then proceeded to make a left-hand turn to the STH 11 westbound ramp. Scott failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of the Drye vehicle. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were later driven from the scene. Neither vehicle's airbags deployed. Both vehicle operators were the lone occupants of their vehicles, were properly restrained and uninjured. Stemming from the incident, Scott was cited for Failure to Yield while making a Left Turn and released with a non-mandatory court date.  Drye was subsequently arrested on two Failure to Pay Fine warrants issued by Polk County for Non-Registration of vehicle & Operating with a Suspended License. Drye was jailed pending payment of bond or transport to Polk County.
Traffic Crime:
At 9:33 p.m., Deputies checked on an occupied disabled vehicle on STH 104, south of Windy Lane, Town of Brooklyn. It was determined that the driver, David Rebollar Bahena, 21, of Madison, stopped to take a nap. Rebollar Bahena was cited for Operating without a Valid License 2nd within 3 years and released pending court.
