April 11, 2014:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on April 10, 2014:

Alcohol Offense / Obstruction / Criminal Damage:
At 12:05 a.m., Deputies responded to the Brownstown Community Park, in the Village of Browntown, for two intoxicated subjects damaging Village property.  Following an investigation, Jeffrey C. Miller, age 19, of Browntown, was cited for Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol-4th Offense and Brittany L. Boeck, age 21, of Browntown, was cited for Obstruction. The case was referred to the District Attorney for charges for Malicious Destruction of Property of a broken concrete planter.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 4:45 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to STH 81 @ STH 11, Argyle Interchange, Monroe Township, for a two-vehicle accident, where it was reported that there was minor road blockage. Investigation found that a vehicle, operated by Rhonda M. Meyer, 50, of Argyle, was traveling north on STH 81 when a vehicle, operated by Dianne M. Russell, 76, of Shullsburg, pulled out from the stop sign and struck the passenger side of Meyer's vehicle. Meyer reported wearing her seatbelt and was not injured. A passenger, Donald N. Meyer, 79, of Argyle, reported an injury, but declined EMS and reported seatbelt use. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained severe rear passenger side damage and was towed from the scene. Russell reported wearing her seatbelt and was not injured. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate front passenger side damage and was towed from the scene. Russell was cited for Failure to Yield to the Right from Stop Sign and released pending court.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 5:44 p.m., Deputies, New Glarus Fire and New Glarus EMS responded to the W7200 block of CTH H, east of CTH J, in New Glarus Township, for a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that Jennifer Lauren Siegel, 25, of Belleville, was eastbound on CTH H when she reportedly took evasive action to avoid some deer in the roadway. Siegel lost control of her vehicle and entered the south ditch where her vehicle overturned one time, coming to rest on its wheels. Siegel was the lone vehicle occupant, was properly restrained, and sustained an injury, but refused medical treatment. The vehicle sustained very severe, all-over damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Siegel was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released pending court.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 7:26 p.m., Deputies responded to the N7000 block of CTH J, north of Dividing Ridge Road, in Adams Township, for a vehicle vs. fence crash. Investigation revealed that Evan Riley Dorn, 19, of New Glarus, was northbound on CTH J when he entered the east gravel shoulder while attempting to negotiate a curve. Dorn then overcorrected and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle slid down a steep embankment, where it came to rest after striking a fence. Dorn was the lone vehicle occupant, was properly restrained, and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Dorn was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and released pending court.
