The following incidents occurred on Sunday, April 27, 2014:

Car vs. Deer Crash:
At 12:10 a.m., Deputies and Monticello PD responded to the N7500 Block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus, for a car vs. deer crash. Tiffany D. Wyser-Bell, age 25, of rural New Glarus, was traveling south on STH 69 when a deer collided with her vehicle. Wyser-Bell reported wearing her seatbelt and was not injured in the collision. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
 
OWI:
At 2:34 a.m., Deputies located a vehicle parked on the west shoulder of STH 69, near Cemetery Road, in the Town of Mount Pleasant. The driver, Brett A. Nafzger, age 24, of Monroe, stopped to allow his passenger to vomit in the ditch. Following an investigation, Nafzger was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st Offense) and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st offense). Nafzger and his passenger were both released to a responsible party. Nafzger has a mandatory court appearance.
