The following incidents occurred on May 3, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 8:55 A.M., Deputies stopped a motor vehicle on STH 69, at Cold Springs Road, Town of Monroe, for a traffic violation. The vehicle had been speeding and appeared to have been in a crash. The operator of the vehicle was Gary J. Wirth, 36, of Monticello. An investigation into the damage of the vehicle revealed that a Hit and Run Crash occurred around 12:30 AM on 5/3/14 at the east intersection of CTH C and Koller Circle in the Town of Washington. Wirth was operating a vehicle eastbound on Koller Circle when he lost control, went into the ditch, collided with a warning curve ahead traffic sign, and then a TDS utility junction box, severing the fiber optic cables. Wirth left the scene and failed to report the crash. No injuries were reported and seatbelt usage is not known. The vehicle sustained moderate damages and the airbags did not deploy. Wirth was arrested for Felony
5th Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence of alcohol and cited for Operating with a Cracked Windshield. Wirth was incarcerated in the Green County Jail pending court. Additional citations to Gary Wirth are pending.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 4:12 P.M., Deputies and Albany PD responded to a motor vehicle crash on CTH E, in the W1300 Block, Town of Albany. Thomas J. Hall, 56, Brodhead, was operating a motorcycle southbound on CTH E when he failed to negotiate the curve. The motorcycle entered the ditch overturning and coming to rest on in the ditch. Hall was injured, but refused treatment. Hall was wearing sunglasses, but no helmet. The motorcycle received moderate to severe damage and was towed from the scene. Hall was arrested for 3rd Offense OWI and cited for Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Report Crash. Hall was released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 8:45 P.M., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the N4000 Block of CTH E, in the Town of Decatur. Robert A. Simonson, 58, Orfordville, was going southbound when a deer ran into his vehicle. The occupants were not injured. There was no airbag deployment and they were wearing seat belts. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
Domestic Dispute:
At 9:32 P.M., Deputies responded to a residence on Pine Street, in the Town of Decatur, for a Domestic Dispute. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Chelsea L. Reine, 22, Brodhead, for Domestic D.C. and Criminal Damage. Reine  posted bond and was released pending court.
