The following incident occurred on May 7, 2014:
At 5:32 P.M., Deputies, along with Browntown First Response & Green County EMS, responded to a motor vehicle crash in the W7900 block of CTH P, Town of Cadiz. Investigation revealed Connar S. Koch, age 18, of Monroe, was westbound on CTH P when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a residence at W7994 CTH P.
Koch was not wearing his seat belt and the vehicle was not equipped with air bags. Koch was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by Browntown Fire Dept. Koch was transported to the Monroe ER for injuries sustained in the crash. Koch stated that he may have fallen asleep prior to the crash. The residence was occupied by three people when the crash occurred; however, no-one was injured. The residence received significant damage. The vehicle had very severe damage and it was towed from the scene. Koch was cited for Failure to Wear Seat Belt and Driving Too Fast For Conditions. He was released pending court.
