The following incidents occurred on May 11, 2014:
Vehicle vs. Deer Crash:
At 12:17 A.M. a Deputy responded to the N5700 block of CTH J, Town of Adams, for a truck vs. deer crash. Jason A. Flannery, age 22, of Argyle, was southbound on CTH J when a deer collided with his truck. Flannery was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment. The truck received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Vehicle in the Ditch:
At 10:23 P.M., Deputies and Monroe Police responded to the W5000 block of STH 59, Town of Monroe, for a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation revealed Francisco Gomez Bartolo, age 21, of Monroe, was eastbound on STH 59 when he attempted to pull the vehicle over and became stuck in the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle. Gomez Bartolo was cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License. A passenger, Javier Ramirez, age 18, of Monroe, was cited for 3rd Offense Underage Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage. The vehicle was removed from the ditch by a tow service. The occupants were released to a valid driver, pending court.
