The following incidents occurred on May 15, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Crash / OWI Arrest:
At 12:24 A.M., Deputies came across a motor vehicle crash on CTH D and Feller Road, in Exeter Township. The driver, Kendrick J. Eichelkraut, 23, Monticello, was southbound, negotiating a curve, when he crossed the center line and entered the east shoulder. Eichelkraut overcorrected and the vehicle skidded across the roadway and struck the embankment on the west side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its wheels, facing a northeasterly direction. The vehicle sustained overall moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Eichelkraut reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries, but refused medical at the scene.  The vehicle was not equipped with airbags. Eichelkraut was arrested for OWI 3rd Offense, cited for Operating with a Revoked Driver’s License 1st Offense, Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Notify Police of an Accident. Eichelkraut was jailed pending court or bond.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:09 A.M., Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on STH 59, north of Dunphy Road, Town of Albany. Nicolette D. Blumer, 23, Albany, was driving northbound when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet roadway during a light rainfall. The vehicle went off the roadway on the west side and down an embankment. Seat belt was used, there was no airbag deployment and no injury. The vehicle sustained moderate front and under carriage damage.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 2:47 P.M., Deputies responded to Clarno Road, just south of Melvin Road, Clarno Township, for a motor vehicle crash. Allison K. Hort, 19, of Orangeville, IL, was traveling southbound on Clarno Road when she struck the rear end of an illegally parked vehicle on the roadway, owned by Michael A. Bear, 49, of Orangeville, IL. Bear had parked his vehicle in his lane and gotten out to pick up some cans in the ditch. Michael was not in his vehicle during the collision. Allison's vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene. Hort was wearing her seat belt and sustained an injury, but refused medical treatment. The air bags did not deploy. Bear's vehicle sustained moderate rear=end damage and was towed from the scene.
