June 17, 2014: Daily News Release
The following incidents occurred on Monday, June 16, 2014:
At 12:20 A.M., the Green County Sheriff's Office received a request from the Wisconsin Department of Correction to apprehend Frederick R.D. Veeder, 39, for an electronic monitoring violation. Deputies responded to an address in the W1200 block of STH 59, Town of Albany, where we made contact with Veeder, who was arrested on the warrant. Veeder was transported to the Green County Jail.
MV Crash – Car vs. Deer:
At 10:35 A.M., Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 69, at Pierce Road, in Mt. Pleasant Township, for a car vs. deer crash. Joshua P. Ganshert, 28, Monroe, was northbound on STH 69 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Ganshert reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment and the vehicle sustained moderate damage. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
At 1:15 P.M., Deputies responded to a residence in the N2200 block of Dill Road, in Cadiz Township, for a domestic disturbance at the residence. After an investigation, Timothy S. Regez, 60, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct While Armed, a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Obstructing an Officer, and Battery (domestic related). He was jailed pending a court appearance without bond.
MV Crash – Property Damage:
At 5:59 P.M., Deputies located a vehicle with moderate front passenger side damage parked along the roadway in the N5100 block of STH 59, Albany Township. Deputies also observed that the vehicle had a shredded front passenger tire. The driver was located at a residence in Albany.
Investigation found that a vehicle, operated by Tammi Klapper Kaderly, 43, Monroe, was traveling north on STH 59 when the front passenger side tire shredded. This caused the front passenger side quarter panel to be damaged. Kaderly reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle remained at the scene to be removed at a later time. Kaderly was warned for a Failure to Notify Police of an Accident.
MV Crash – Non-Reportable:
At 6:01 P.M., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the W2800 block of CTH KS in Jefferson Township.
Nicole M. Rackow, 30, Juda, was eastbound on CTH KS and Robert D. Olsen, 76, Brodhead, was also eastbound, after completing a U-Turn on CTH KS behind Rackow. Olsen struck Rackow’s vehicle in the rear driver’s side, causing very minor damage. Rackow and her passenger reported being properly restrained and were uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. Rackow’s vehicle was driven from the scene.
Olsen’s vehicle also sustained very minor front-end damage. Olsen reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
