The following incident occurred on June 19, 2014:
At 4:33 P.M., Deputies responded to the Argyle Interchange, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed a car driven by Hanna K. Buol, age 18, of Juda, was behind a car driven by Catherine J. Nipple, age 66, of Albany, when they both stopped at the stop sign. Nipple then pulled ahead and stopped again. The car driven by Buol bumped into Nipple’s car. A passenger in Buol's vehicle, Lisa M. Pernot, age 37, Monroe, reported an injury, but declined medical attention at the scene. Occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts and there was no airbag deployment. The car driven by Buol received very minor damage and Nipple’s vehicle received no damage. The vehicles were driven from the scene by the operators.
