The following incidents occurred July 6, 2014:

Warrant Arrest:
At 11:28 A.M., Deputies arrested Christopher Howard Stevens, 33, Monticello, on a Department of Corrections warrant in the Village of Monticello. Stevens was jailed.
 
Suspended Driver’s License:
At 11:59 A.M., Deputies cited Joshua A. Jacobson, 21, of Brodhead, for Operating with a Suspended Driver’s License and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance on CTH KS, at Lumberyard Road, in the Town of Jefferson. Jacobson was released pending court.
 
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 1:07 P.M., Deputies responded to the Argyle Interchange, Town of Monroe, for a motor vehicle accident. Burnell C. Green, 75, of Monticello, stopped and proceeded onto the Interchange, striking a southbound boat trailer being pulled by pickup truck, operated by Verlin J. Heaberlin, 53, Machesney Park, IL. Green and passenger sustained no injuries, were wearing seat belts, and there was no airbag deployment. The Green vehicle received severe damage and was driven from the scene. Heaberlin was not injured, was wearing a seat belt and there was no airbag deployment. The truck was not damaged, but the boat and trailer received severe damage.
 
Burglary Arrest:
At 9:48 P.M., Deputies arrested Darrin W. Demrow, 35, Brodhead, at an abandoned business on Twin Grove Road, in the Town of Jefferson, on charges of Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass, and Felony Bail jumping. Demrow was jailed pending court.
