The following incidents occurred on July 11, 2014:
At 7:24 A.M., Deputies responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash on CTH A near Biggs Rd., Town of Adams.
Investigation revealed Teresa M. Schmid, age 47, of Monticello, was westbound on CTH A when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Schmid was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.
Private Property Crash:
At 5:50 P.M., a Deputy responded to 513 9th Avenue, Village of New Glarus, for a vehicle that struck a parked camper. Investigation revealed Brenda J. Schmitt, age 32, of New Glarus, was traveling east on 9th Avenue when she attempted to pull into her driveway and struck a camper she owned that was parked in the roadway. Schmitt advised she and her passenger were not injured and wearing their seatbelts. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate passenger side damage and was able to be driven from the area. The camper sustained only minor damage.
