The following incidents occurred on Monday, July 14, 2014:
MV Crash – Injury:
At 12:18 p.m., Green County Deputies, Monticello Fire/First Response and Green County EMS were
dispatched to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Gutzmer Road and Sulzer Road, in the Town of Washington.
The investigation revealed Brittany Corbin Sandlin, 29, Monticello, had been travelling west on Sulzer Road and was turning left (south) onto Gutzmer Road. James Henry Frankowski, 19, Monticello, was traveling north, south of the intersection. Sandlin drove into the path of Frankowski. Sandlin sustained minor injuries and was transported by Green County EMS to a local hospital. Sandlin’s vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. She reported wearing her seatbelt and the airbag did deploy.
Frankowski reported no injury. He reported wearing his seatbelt and both front and side airbags deployed. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
Sandlin was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way from a Yield Sign as well as a County Ordinance Citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (pipe).
MV Crash – car vs. deer:
Holly M Nilles, 33, of Monticello, was westbound in the W6800 block of Farmers Grove Road when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Nilles reported wearing her seat belt and was uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was removed by the operator.
At 10:24 p.m., Deputies arrested Carl L. McAdory, 44, Brodhead, at a residence in the W100 block of Half-Way Tree Road, Spring Grove Township, on a Green County warrant. McAdory was jailed pending bond being posted.
