The following incidents occurred on August 17, 2014:
Theft / OWI / Warrant:
At 2:08 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to the Village of Browntown for a theft complaint at a business. The suspect motor vehicle had left the scene but was located on Pilz Road. The driver; Joy L. King, 46, of Freeport, IL, was arrested for 1st Offense Operating While under the Influence, Operating with a Suspended Driver’s License and was also arrested on a Green County Warrant issued for Failure to Pay Fine. King posted bond and was released pending court. The theft complaint remains under investigation.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 2:36 a.m., Deputies and Monticello PD were called to the intersection of Church Road and Buckskin Road in Washington Township for a motor vehicle crash. The caller advised that the driver had crawled out of the vehicle and two other vehicles were on scene and pulled the truck out of the ditch. The caller advised that the vehicles left northbound on Church Road. The vehicle was located at a farm on Church Road. Investigation determined that the driver, Devan J. Mueller, 32, Monroe, was southbound on Church Road when he skidded through the intersection, turning southbound onto Buckskin Road. Mueller traveled across the roadway and into the west ditch, where he collided with a telephone box. Aleron Jhereg Wasserstrass, 28, Monroe, pulled Mueller's vehicle out of the ditch and both vehicles left the scene. Mueller's vehicle was towed to the Green County Sheriff's Office Impound. Contact was made with Mueller and he was cited for Hit and Run Property Adjacent to Highway, Failure to Notify Law Enforcement of an Accident and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. Wasserstrass was cited for Assist Person Fleeing from a Motor Vehicle Crash. Both subjects were released pending court.
While investigating the incident, Deputies located three subjects hiding inside a barn. Sabryna Marie Graves, 18, Shanaye Monique Howard, 18, and Jace Michael Johnsrud, 20, all of Monroe, were all cited for Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol 1st offense. They were released pending court.
At 4:02 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the Sugar River in the Town of Albany for a report of a fight. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Graham A Dommershausen, 21, of Beaver Dam, on a charge of Disorderly Conduct. Dommershausen was released pending court.
At 6:11 p.m., Deputies arrested Deanna M. Hoffman, 27, of Monroe, at the Green County Sheriff's Office. Hoffman was arrested on a warrant issued by Albany Police for Failure to Pay Fine. Hoffman posted the required bond and was released.
