August 24, 2014: Daily News Release
The following incidents occurred on August 23, 2014:
At 11:17 PM, Deputies responded to a report of an underage alcohol party at a residence in the N7600 block of Loyalty Road, Town of York. Upon arrival, Deputies observed approximately 75 persons near and around the residence, most of which fled into the surrounding woods. The host of the party, Tessa M. Cushman, 18, of Blanchardville, was cited for Encourage or Contribute to Underage Alcohol Consumption. A male subject identified as James A. D. Reddell, 18, of Dodgeville, was cited for Underage Alcohol Consumption. A female identified as Athena N. Peterson, 17, of Blanchardville, provided false identifying information and was arrested for Obstructing. Peterson was also cited for Underage Alcohol Consumption.
While investigating, Deputies observed a 6-month-old Australian Shepard/Blue Heeler puppy unattended in a vehicle with the windows only rolled down a couple of inches. The puppy owner, Nicole L. Weber, 19, of Benton, was cited for Improper Care of Animal and Underage Alcohol Consumption. All subjects were released pending court.
Operate While Under the Influence:
At 6:20 PM, Deputies and Monroe Police responded to the area of 6th St and STH 11/81 eastbound on ramp for a check welfare request. Lindsay F. Morhbacher, 30, of Brodhead, wasarrested for OWI 1st (w/ passenger under 16). Morhbacher was released pending court.
