December 06, 2015:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on December 5, 2015:

Motor Vehicle Crash/OWI:

A 2:57 AM, Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash in the W5700 block of CTH C, in the Town of Washington. A car driven by Nathania K. Kummer, 23, Argyle, was going westbound on CTH C, negotiating a curve, when the car drove through a patch of road covered in frost, causing the vehicle to go into the south ditch. The vehicle struck an embankment, causing it to roll and come to a stop on its side. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and received non-life-threatening injuries. The airbag did deploy. The car received severe damage and was towed from the scene.  Kummer was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Intoxicants 1st Offense.  Kummer was released pending court.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 8:50 AM, Deputies responded to a rollover crash on County Highway C, just west of County Highway N, in the Town of Washington. Treyton T. Waage, 19, Argyle, was eastbound on County Highway C when he lost control and the vehicle overturned.  Waage and his passenger were wearing seat belts and reported no injuries and there was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 4:42 PM, Deputies responded to a car versus deer crash in the N9500 block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus.  A vehicle operated by Tamara J. Bloom, 72, of Verona, was northbound on STH 69 when she collided with a deer in the roadway.  Tamara and her passenger were not injured, they were wearing their seatbelts, and airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained moderate front-end and passenger-quarter-panel damage and was driven from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash/OWI:

At 10:30 PM, Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on STH 59, west of STH 104, in the Town of Albany.  Matthew L. Wyss, 40, of Monroe, was westbound on STH 59 when Wyss lost control of his vehicle.  Wyss entered the ditch, colliding with a tree and a fence.  Wyss was not injured, he claimed seatbelt usage, and the airbag did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.  Wyss was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence, 1st Offense.  Wyss was cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, Failure to Maintain Motor Vehicle and Failure to Report Crash to Law Enforcement.  Wyss was released pending court.
