December 31, 2015: Daily News Release
The following incidents occurred on December 30, 2015:
At 2:17 AM, Deputies located an occupied vehicle in the ditch on CTH J, at Farmers Grove Road, in the Town of York. Kiel F. Stampfli, age 22, of Blanchardville, was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol (1st) and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st). Stampfli was also cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control and Non-Registration of automobile. Stampfli was released pending court.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 6:33 AM, the Iowa County Sheriff's Office assisted the Green County Sheriff's Office with a crash report that occurred on Sunnyside Road, south of STH 78, in the Town of York. A truck driven by Elizabeth A. Foster, 40, Blanchardville, was going southbound on Sunnyside Road when her vehicle started to fishtail on the snow-covered road. Her vehicle then collided with a northbound truck driven by Jessica L. Scace, 30, Blanchardville. No-one was injured and both were wearing seatbelts. There was no airbag deployment. Scace's vehicle received minor damage and Foster's vehicle received moderate damage. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 3:31 PM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Hefty Road and STH 69, in the Town of Washington. The investigation revealed that a Town of Washington snow plow, operated by Shane J. Luchsinger, 40, of Monticello, had backed into a vehicle, operated by Bruce E. Bartle, 62, Monticello, while plowing snow from the intersection. Both operators reported wearing their seatbelts, no air bag deployment, and were uninjured. The Bartle vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front end and front passenger side quarter panel.
At 4:05 PM, Deputies stopped Jennah E.R. Prochazka, 21, of Monroe, in the W3300 block of STH 11, Town of Sylvester, for a traffic violation. Prochazka was arrested for Operating Under the Influence 1st Offense /Passenger under 16 (drug-related). Prochazka was cited for Speeding, No Insurance and Operating After Suspension. Prochazka was released pending court. The Green County K9 assisted at the traffic stop.
