January 01, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incidents occurred on December 31, 2015:

Warrant:

At 10:07 AM, Deputies arrested Taylor M. Yaun, 19, of Monroe, at the Green County Justice Center for a Child Support Warrant.  Yaun also was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Yaun was jailed.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 11:01 AM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Wildlife, just north of Puddledock Road, in the Town of Adams.  Roger F. Isely, 82, Argyle, was northbound on Wildlife Road, operating a snowplow for the Town of Adams, when he collided with a southbound pickup truck that was operated by Eugene H. Treuthhardt, 48, of Argyle.  Treuthhardt's vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was trailered from the scene by a private party. The snowplow that Isely was operating was not damaged in the crash. There were no injuries reported from either party and no airbag deployment.  Isely was able to drive the plow from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 1:37 PM, Deputies responded to the N700 block of STH 69, in the Town of Clarno, for a motor vehicle crash.  Hannah M. Betthouser, 16, of Monroe, lost control of her vehicle on the ice on the roadway.  Betthouser crossed the centerline and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Aubrey W. Green, 19, Monroe.  A passenger in Betthouser's vehicle, Tyler J. Elmer, 17, Monroe, sustained injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.  Betthouser sustained injuries and was transported by Monroe EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. Betthouser and Elmer were wearing seatbelts and the airbags did not deploy.  Betthouser's vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene.  Green sustained injuries and was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER by Monroe EMS.  Green was wearing a seatbelt and the airbag did not deploy.  Green's vehicle sustained very severe damage to the front end and was towed from the scene.  Monroe EMS, Green County Highway Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Monroe Fire Department were also called to the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 5:32 PM, Deputies responded to the N6000 block of STH 69, Mount Pleasant Township, for a report of a vehicle versus deer crash.  Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Arika F. Hartman, 32, of Freeport, IL, was traveling southbound on STH 69 when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle.  Hartman and her passenger reported wearing their seatbelts, with no injuries.  There was no airbag deployment.  The vehicle sustained severe front-end, driver's side front quarter panel, and driver's side door damage.  The vehicle was driven from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 5:32 PM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the W2100 Block of CTH EE, in the Town of Mt Pleasant.  Justin L. Germann, 39, of Beloit, was eastbound on CTH EE when he collided with a deer.  Germann was not injured, he was wearing his seatbelt, and airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front end, front passenger quarter panel, and passenger door.  The vehicle was driven from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 6:29 PM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash in the W6200 Block of Tucker Road, in the Town of Washington.  Erika M. Hartwig, 33, of Monticello, reported traveling west on Tucker Road when she struck a patch of ice and lost control of her vehicle. Hartwig reported being uninjured and all occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident.  Hartwig removed the vehicle from the scene, there was no airbag deployment, and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
