The following incidents were reported on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016:
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 7:54 AM, Deputies responded to the W5600 block of Spring Valley Road, Town of New Glarus, for a one-vehicle crash. Ryan A. Dull, 17, New Glarus, was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve due to the snow and ice on the roadway. Dull’s vehicle then entered the ditch and overturned. Dull was wearing a seat belt and the air bags did not deploy. Dull was not injured in the crash. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Crash:
At 11:30 AM, Deputies, along with New Glarus Fire, New Glarus EMS, and New Glarus Police Department, responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in the N9700 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Calsea A. Garbe, 24, of Monticello, was traveling north on STH 69 when she began to slow down for a vehicle in front of her that was turning. Garbe’s vehicle was struck from behind by a northbound semi and tanker that was operated by Robert W. Ernst, 49, of Apple River, IL.
Garbe reported wearing a seat belt and the air bags did not deploy in her vehicle. Garbe was transported by New Glarus EMS to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Garbe's vehicle sustained severe rear-end damage and was towed from the scene. Ernst was wearing a seat belt and his semi was not equipped with air bags. Ernst was not injured in the crash. Ernst was cited for Following Too Close and was released pending court. Ernst’s semi sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
At 9:11 PM, Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the N6200 block of Pine Haven Road, Town of Albany. Investigation resulted in Kenneth P. Judd, 54, of Albany, and Shannon M. Turnbill, 38, of Albany, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct - Domestic Abuse. Judd and Turnbill were both booked into jail and posted cash bond, they were released pending court.
