The following incident occurred on January 14, 2016:


Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 10:57 PM, Deputies responded to the N1200 Block of CTH K, Jefferson Township, for a motor vehicle crash.  Amy J. Steiner, 38, of Juda, was southbound on CTH K when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the east ditch/culvert.  Steiner was not injured, seatbelt was used and the airbags did not deploy.  Steiner vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.


The following incidents occurred on January 15, 2016:


Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 3:13 AM, Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on STH 39, east of Hayes Lane, in the Town of New Glarus.  Sarah J. Brink, 22, of Cuba City, was westbound on STH 39 when a deer collided with the front end of her vehicle.  The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.  Brink was not injured in the crash, airbags did not deploy and seatbelt was worn.


Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 6:24 AM, Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on County Highway C, east of Pratt Road, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant.  Sharon Marie Sandlin, 26, of Monticello, was eastbound on County Highway C, negotiating a curve, when she lost control of the vehicle.   The vehicle turned approximately 180*, crossed the westbound lane of traffic, and entered the ditch on the left side of the highway.  Sandlin then collided with a fence post marking a culvert, causing minor damage to the passenger side of her vehicle.  Sandlin advised that neither she nor her passengers were injured in the crash.  Sandlin and her passengers were properly restrained in the vehicle.  The airbags in the vehicle did not deploy.  The vehicle was towed from the ditch and driven from the scene.


Warrant/Drug Arrest:

At 3:45 PM, Gregory S. Grinder, 38, Hollandale, was arrested on a Department of Corrections Warrant, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, at the Green County Justice Center.  Grinder was jailed pending court.


Motor Vehicle Crash:

At 4:53 PM, Dennis L. Pfingsten, 50, Juda, reported that at 6:30 AM, he was westbound in the W3700 block of CTH F, in the Town of Mount Pleasant, when he collided with an unknown wild animal.  Pfingsten was not injured, he was wearing his seatbelt, and airbags did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained severe undercarriage damage and was driven from the scene.
