January 20, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incidents were reported on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016:

Traffic Offense:

 

At 4:26 AM, Deputies stopped a vehicle in the W4100 block of STH 11, Town of Jefferson. Roberto Benitez-Jaime, 41, of Beloit, was subsequently cited for Operating After Suspension. He was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 5:33 PM, Deputies responded to the W2200 block of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn, for a car versus deer crash. Catherine M. O Brien, 65, of Evansville, was going eastbound when a deer collided with her vehicle. O Brien was not injured and was wearing her seat belt. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Traffic Offense:

 

At 7:51 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch in the N3900 block of Dutch Hollow Road, Town of Sylvester. Deputies made contact with the driver, Tyler J. Swedlund, 18, of Juda. Swedlund advised that he was tired and failed to negotiate the curve. A tow company removed his vehicle from the ditch. Swedlund was cited for Operating After Suspension and was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 10:12 PM, Deputies responded to the W5600 block of CTH H, Town of New Glarus, for a car vs. deer crash. Elizabeth A. Kirch, 48, of New Glarus, was westbound on CTH H when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Kirch was not injured and was wearing her seat belt. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
