January 29, 2016:  Daily News Release

The following incidents were reported on Thursday, January 28th, 2016:

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:57 AM, Deputies responded to the N3700 STH 69, Town of Monroe, for a car vs. deer crash. Allison L. Schlough, 40, of Monroe, was traveling north when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Schlough was wearing a seat belt and the airbags did not deploy. Schlough was not injured in the crash. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 7:33 AM, Deputies, along with Albany Fire Department and Albany EMS, responded to the W600 block of Bump Road, Town of Albany, for a one-vehicle rollover crash. Karen L. Little, 33, of Footville, was eastbound on Bump Road when she encountered snow on the roadway, which caused her to lose control of her vehicle. Little's vehicle then entered the ditch, where it overturned, striking a utility pole.

 

Little was wearing a seat belt and the air bags did not deploy. Little was injured in the crash, but declined to be transported by EMS. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Little was cited for Operating After Suspension, Non-Registration of a Vehicle, and No Insurance. Little was released pending court.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 5:51 PM, Deputies handled a truck versus deer crash that occurred in the N4700 block of Center Road, Town of Monroe. Alan K. Prien, 42, Monroe, was going southbound when a deer collided with his vehicle. Prien was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:13 PM, Deputies responded to a car versus deer crash in the W7400 block of Dividing Ridge Road, Town of Adams. Kerry R. Karlan, 58, of Monticello, was westbound on Dividing Ridge Road when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle.  Karlan was not injured and was wearing his seat belt. The air bags did not deploy.  The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Crash:

 

At 6:40 PM, Deputies responded to the N8000 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus, for a vehicle versus deer crash. Douglas D. Duff, 68, of Verona, was going southbound on STH 69 when a deer collided with his vehicle. Duff was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. There was no air bag deployment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
